Will it be cheaper when i get there

by pre-booking car rental you know exactly what the fully inclusive price is and you will not have to pay any extras for compulsory insurance , taxes etc. car rental prices charged at your destination may be higher as there is often only one supplier and therefore no competition to keep prices down.

we'll get taxis

the taxi journeys to and from the airport alone can cost the same as a week's car rental and with your own hired car you have added flexibility of going where you want, when you want during your holiday. taxis can also be very unreliable about turning up on time.

We'll use local transport

this is not the safest or most reliable way of getting around on holiday particularly when you have just arrived at the airport. why wait for an overcrowded stuffy bus when you could be on a beach or lying by the pool

our transfers are free

a lot of valuable time can be wasted waiting for transfer buses to take you to your accommodation. transfers can often return you to the airport hours before your departure time.

We'll be going on planned excursions

excursions nowadays can each cost as much as a week's car rental! excursions can drag out a visit that need only take up to one morning or afternoon. if you had your own transport you can stop where and when you want at a time that suits you. Why be held to a fixed schedule - it's your vacation.

we're on a special offer package deal

generally with these holidays you do not know where you are going to until you get there, you can still pick your car up at the airport.

i can't drive

find out if anyone else going with you can, you can divide the cost between you and make it even cheaper.

i drive for a living

you are obviously a good driver and you would find driving abroad extremely easy. it would be a shame not to see as much of your holiday destination as possible. you don't have to have a car for the full duration or you could get someone else to share the driving with you

we won't understand the signs

a stop sign is a stop sign in any language. simply ask if there are any unusual signs or driving rules you should be advised of when you collect your car.

we're on a package holiday

you will probably find times when you want a rest from everyone else, this is when having a car will be a great bonus to give you the freedom to do what you want when you want.

we're visiting friends and relatives

you will want to spent time on your own. being chauffeured around by friends and relatives can be a strain on the best relationships. a car rental would be a great way to avoid the problem

aren't we too old to be driving

in most cases if you have a valid driving licence you will be able to drive, if you can't perhaps someone else travelling can. if you are not sur check with reservations before you book.

aren't i too young to rent a car

if you are over 21 and hold a valid full driving licence then it shouldn't be a problem. the main stipulation is that you have had the licence for at least one year. if you are not sure check before you book.

i don't want to drive on the right

thousands of people do every year with no problem. usually after a short while it gets easier and easier.

we'll book with our tour operator

in some cases this will be with a local car hire company who will want to be paid in cash, eating into your holiday spending money

i don't have a UK licence

we have access to over 4000 locations worldwide, were used to it. call reservations to confirm that car rental is possible. if not you could ask another member of the party to drive instead.

we want a fly-drive you get a free car

there is no such thing as a free car. you often pay more overall for the free car than you would for booking a fully inclusive car rental

we just want to sit on the beach all day

fine, but why limit yourself. why sit on the same crowded beach everyday, with a car you could enjoy a different beach or destination each day

i've just paid for my holiday and i am skint

you could still reserve your car with a deposit. this will make sure you get a car incase they run out - it can happen

we'll only want a car if it rains

so will everyone else. if you don't pre-book you might not be able to get one. plus there are many other benefits to having a car anyway

we always book locally, they give us a good price

by booking before you go you get great prices and make sure you get the car grade you want in advance.

we won't all fit in one car

we have access to a wide range of vehicles to suit parties of most sizes. minibuses and minivans are available in most resorts and offer a very economical way of transporting a large group of people.

i don't have a clean driving licence

we can still get car hire for people who have endorsements on their licence. speeding is not nornally a problem - drink driving is, call reservations if you are not sure. if not find out if someone else in the party can drive.

we're going on a cruise

we can arrange car hire at some ports or from a downtown location.

we're holidaying in the uk

we have very competative car hire rates in the uk. we can also arrange oneway rentals in great britain.

we're going tomorrow - isn't it too late

you can often reserve a car at most destinations with out any problem. remember that cars are all subject to availability.
